What’s it about?
Sarah Morgan started her First Ladies project in 2019 and has been researching on the USA’s First Ladies and women’s Suffrage with the goal to cook her way through all of the administrations. Join Sarah and learn the history, story, and influence of Grace Coolidge during the 1920s and her influence on women’s rights. While we learn about Grace Coolidge’s passion on learning to cook and bake like her mother, Sarah will demonstrate how to make Grace Coolidge’s favorite cocktail.
If you are planning to make a cocktail along with Sarah, please prepare Scotch whiskey (or any whiskey you have at home), Sweet Vermouth, Bitter of Your Choice, Orange Peel (Twist) (or Lemon Peel).

Who’s hosting it?
Sarah Morgan has a Bachelors’s Degree in History as well as a passion for not only history but the First Ladies. After finding a copy of The First Ladies Cook Book: Favorite Recipes of all the Presidents of the United States at a thrift store back in early 2019, she began a project on Instagram, @CookingwiththeFirstLadies, with the goal to cook her way through all of the administrations.
Now, she also creates content for the National First Ladies Library, filming videos to share First Lady food facts, tutorials, and recipes. Sarah has worked in the history field for years as not only a tour guide but also focusing on archives and museum collections management.
