What’s it about?

The Thames – Britain’s most important river and for centuries the highway for our royal family as they moved from castle to castle. Today’s interactive talk discusses the Royal Family of 40O to 600 years ago, the Tudors and Stuarts who like the Thames define British culture and bring tourists by the millions to our capital city London. Their dramatic lives by the royal river both entertain and tell the story of how modern Britain was created.

Who’s telling the story?

Terry Silvers is a qualified Westminster guide (Westminster is the central area of London) and teaches Tudor and Stuart history in a London college.
